Tentukan kenaikan titik didih 800 ml larutan yang mengandung 4,5% massa NaOH!(diketahui ? = 1,08 kg/,Kb air=0,52°c/m,Mr NaOH=40).

Jawab:

Massa larutan NaOH

= ? x v

= 1,08 x 0,8

= 0,864 Kg

= 864 g

Massa NaOH

= % x massa larutan

= 4.5% x 864

= 38,88 g

Massa air

= 864 – 38,88

= 825,12 g

Molalitas NaOH

= g/Mr x 1000/P

= 38,88/40 x 1000/825,12

= 1,178 m

Kenaikan titik didih larutan

= m.Kb. I

= 1,178 x 0,52 x 2

= 1,225 oC

Jadi kenaikan titik didih larutannya adalah 1,225 oC
